Before I pass personal judgement on any story about gender relations, I prefer to replay the story in my head six times. First I genderswap it. Then, I replay as originally gendered. Then again imagaining it done by two gay men, then two lesbian women, then a trans woman and a man, then a trans woman and a woman.

This clears the threshold. It’s fully scummy. Psychology and attentiveness to needs/desires shouldn’t be used to manipulate a person into liking them... these two traits can cause a person to shine anyway if used honestly. Attention to a partner and a bit of psychology can be used to help someone grow… but this? It’s using those skills pretty much in the same way advertising agencies do, which is pretty yuck.
